Introduction to Acting

Please note that classes may be cancelled if less than four students register.

Working from a foundation that is designed to free the beginning actor from self-consciousness, An Introduction To Acting offers a wonderful starting point for students of all levels. Not only will you learn about the tools and skills of acting; scene study, improvisation, and developing a character, but you will also discover how to trust your instinct and use your imagination to find your own distinctive voice. Culminating with an evening showcase of student performances in a professional theatre, students will have a chance to put all that they have learned into practice before an audience of friends and family. As an extra bonus, each student will receive a DVD of their showcase performance. For those looking for a home to find the fun and deep satisfaction of creative expression, An Introduction to Acting is that place.
